Our Hero is a male dog born in the sanctuary on 29.01.2022, making him just over 2 years old. 

His mother, Tammy, came to the sanctuary after meeting with a road traffic accident. She was pregnant and ready to pop. She had a pelvic fracture, so was unable to give birth naturally. We had to do an emergency c-section. Two of her babies had passed away due to the collision, but we managed to recover the two barely alive babies and get them breathing, warm and drinking from mummy. We named them Hero and Miracle, the most incredibly beautiful dogs inside and out. Lucie had gotten both adopted together to a lovely family home, but they had to reluctantly return them to the sanctuary, as their neighbors complained that the pups were stealing the their shoes and clothes, and bringing them back to their home (I find this incredibly adorable, but I guess not everyone does..). The family were heartbroken. 

Then, tragedy, Miracle passed away due to a contamination at the sanctuary last December. She had an awful and quick death and no one could do anything to help her. Our heart bleeds every day that we lost her. So Hero, who was always with his sister, is now sisterless. 

We need him to be happy again. We need him to have a family. This is one of our more urgent appeals. He deserves a home with people who love him and will keep him safe for the rest of his life.

Hero is a wonderful chap. We honestly think he is such an incredible boy. He is extremly loyal, soft, obidient, and protective; qualities that make an amazing family dog. He can be slightly cheeky and you may want to keep him away from your neighbour's things, which wouldn't be a problem in the UK or EU. But he is also over his puppy phase, which makes us worry less about cheekiness. 

He is healthy, fully vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized and super ready to be part of your family!
