Animal SOS Sri Lanka provides Sri Lankan street dogs and cats lifesaving veterinary care and rehabilitation, food to fill their bellies and a safe home to spend their days. In a country that is struggling in every way and has no space to care for or protect their animals, Animal SOS has stepped up to give street animals of Sri Lanka a second chance at life.

Every day, Animal SOS takes in critical cases - from dogs who have been run over and left to die by careless drivers, puppies strangled by pythons, cats and dogs abused by inhumane 'humans' with knives, fireworks and poison to puppies dumped on busy streets - and we fight day in and day out for the survival of these souls.

Animal SOS does all this work from the donations we receive from kind strangers.

But, things are dire... inflation has made it more expensive to run the clinics and sanctuary. Medicine has become more expensive, so has food. We are in debt at the fish vendor and are unable to purchase the usual amounts of food. The disabled dogs need more blankets and the clinics need towels. The roofs are leaking during heavy rains and more buildings need to be built to house all these animals, especially dogs with special needs.

Animal SOS needs your help urgently, now more than ever.
