Beautiful Lavender is a female dog of 3.5 years old.

Lavender and her siblings only knew their mom for 6 days...
She arrived at the sanctuary with her 4 siblings, and mother who had been victim of hakkapatas. Hakkapatas loosely translates into jaw bombs. They are improvised explosives that detonates when bit. They are used by the locals to get rid of "pests"; the pest in this case was a young mom dog with newborns.
Fyi, Hakkapatas is also one of the largest threats to the lives of wild animals especially elephants.. this is the sad state of cruelty in the country.

Lavender's mom survived long enough to make sure her pups were safe. Once she passed, Lucie stepped up as litter mom. One of Lavender's sisters didn’t make it, she died suddenly due to intestinal intussusception. But the other 4 thrived. They are all gorgeous but in particular Lavender, and Ocean (her brother), who are very adoptable!! 

Lavender is a little on the quiet side, very calm, but she might come out of her shell once removed from the craziness of the sanctuary. She has the most graceful face and she is very sweet and affectionate. She has so much love to give... Will you give her the opportunity to love you?
