Out sweet Alessandra is approximately 3 years old. 

She arrived in October 2021, as a puppy who had been in an accident in the Galle area. Of course, she was in agony after the accident that had crushed her leg. Alessandra arrived at the sanctuary dehydrated and in a lot of pain. Our vets had to amputate the leg without delay to help save her life. Since then, she's recovered and grown up in the sanctuary. She calls the sanctuary her home, but we think she deserves MUCH more love, comfort and attention, the kind that only an owned dog can get.

Alessandra is very sweet natured, a calm character who is incredibly loving towards humans. She gets on well with dogs too, and loves to play with dogs who have similar energy to her. Despite missing a limb, she has adapted well and has had a few years of rehabilitation at this point, and it doesn’t affect her at all!

She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized and super ready for a new home? Would you be able to give her that safety and love?
