Miss Mia is a 6.5 year old female dog. She arrived at the sanctuary in May of 2018.

When she was a puppy, she was first adopted by a local family who took good care of her. However, a neighbour dog attacked her, breaking her leg. Despite trying very hard, the vets at Animal SOS could not save her leg and they had to amputate it. She was not able to be returned to her family; so from then on she lived at the sanctuary.

While she does not have one leg, she knows how to use her other three legs well. She can walk and do everything abled dogs can do. 

As you can see, she is beautiful, inside and out. She has a beautiful smile and kind eyes that could make hearts melt. She is gentle and loving and can make a great companion for a lovely family or individual. We can imagine her lounging around on the sofa and going for nice countryside walks. Can you?

Mia is healthy, fully vaccinated, sterilized and microchipped.
