Salem is a sweet little pup of around 7 months old. 

Annapolis, Madison, Little Rock and Salem arrived to the sanctuary in late February 2024, after being rescued with their disabled mother from under a bridge in Matara. They were newborns when they arrived. One of the siblings was already dead at the location, and then one other puppy tested positive for parvovirus so the family went into isolation and on medications. The family recovered well and are now the friendliest bunch, always looking for attention and following you everywhere. 

Salem is the sweetest one of them all. She is very soft natured and mellow. She runs with the others to ask for affection, but then hangs back until the others are done and you are available for cuddles. 

She is very sociable with humans and other dogs after having grown up in the sanctuary environment. She's a middle-pack kind of girl, not dominant but also doesn't get bullied by others too much.

Physically, shes slim and small. She won't be heavier than 16kg as an adult.
