Sushi
Sushi
Sushi is a beautiful girl around 10 months old.
She and her sisters (Katsu, Boba and Wasabi) are victims of animal abuse perpetrated by children (!). One of our managers heard that children were beating puppies by busy train tracks in a nearby village. This manager picked up the puppies and brought them to the safety of the sanctuary, where they grew up to become beautiful young girls who are now ready to receive that unconditional love they so deserve.
Sushi is a timid girl and takes her time to get to know people. This could be a consequence of the high intensity environment in the sanctuary; some dogs just don't do well in this situation. So her timidness may also correct itself when she feel safe and protected in a home environment. Sushi hides away from new people but with time she warms up to give much love. So we do need Sushi's future adopters to be patient with our little miss. She just needs time and some guidance.
Otherwise, Sushi is really a sweet puppy. She is super socialized with other dogs. She's not a dominant one, so she can be introduced easily to a new pack! Because she is young, with time and patience she can be trained well to fit into life here in the western world.
Sushi is very healthy, fully vaccinated, microchipped and sterilized.
